The Red Arrows - officially one of my favourite things. Here is the "Gypo" formation doing a colourful break manoeuvre.
Spot metered +1 stop = 1/1250s @ f/5.6. ISO 200, 280mm Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L USM with Sigma 1.4x Teleconverter
A privately owned and beautifully painted Tucano.
Pattern metered +1 stop, 1/500s @ f/8, ISO 200. Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L USM with Sigma 1.4x Teleconverter.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire and Hurricane. Came in low over town and out over the sea. The Lancaster is just awe inspiring.
Spot metered +1 stop - 1/200s @ f/7.1, ISO 200. Canon EOS 50D, 98mm focal length on Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L USM
The red arrows again, here in Concorde formation
Spot metered + 2/3 stop. 1/2000s @ f/5.6. 127 mm focal length on Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L USM.
More of the reds. I like this shot because of how the sun reflects off the red planes making them almost gold. This formation may be called Vulcan but I'm not sure this time.
Spot metered + 2/3 stop. 1/2500s @ f/5.6. 176 mm focal length on Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L USM.
